- Builds campaign-level and ad-group-level exact negatives
- Skips a negative when the target already contains the positive keyword

Keyword isolation
Create exact-match negatives that reduce overlap between Search campaigns and ad groups, with a manifest and dry-run safeguards.
What it is for
A faster check.
Not automatic judgement.
Keyword overlap can make closely related campaigns and ad groups compete for the same query. This script builds exact-match isolation negatives, records what it created in a manifest and can safely remove only its own obsolete entries on later runs.
- 01Keep DRY_RUN enabled for the first run
- 02Choose campaign and status filters
- 03Review the proposed additions and safety skips
- 04Use a dedicated manifest Sheet before live sync
Isolation is not appropriate for every account structure. Review close variants, match behaviour and intentional overlap before switching off dry run.
Use this script at your own risk. Google Ads interfaces and reporting fields change. Always run Preview in the intended account and read the logs before enabling or scheduling it.
